November Reading Month and English Festival Begin at Lun Padidu National High School
Lun Padidu, November 4, 2024 — Lun Padidu National High School is excited to kick off November with the start of its Reading Month and English Festival! This month-long celebration aims to encourage a love for reading and improve English skills among students.
Adding a fun twist, students dressed up as their favorite book characters, bringing extra excitement to the activity. The school grounds were filled with a lively mix of characters, boosting students' confidence and letting them bring stories to life.
The celebration began with a colorful parade to show off the costumes, followed by a Read-a-thon that included students from every grade. This enthusiastic start has set a positive tone for the activities planned for the rest of the month.
The event is led by Ma’am Chazel Joy Banzon, Reading Coordinator, and Ma’am Jenneth Lagon, English Coordinator, with the strong support of the English Department teachers. Together, they are working to make this festival an enjoyable and meaningful experience for every student.
The school is excited to see how this festival will inspire students to love reading and storytelling, helping them learn and grow.
